THIS IS OUR STORY...

Hello, my name is Mike Garrison, founder/owner/designer, of 247DesignWorks. I was an avid motocross racer going from the dream of racing professionally. I raced motocross thirteen years of my life, but in August, 2006, I was involved in a major crash. I was attempting to make a pass for the lead and collided with another rider. The crash shattered my T-5,T-6 vertebrae, collapsed one lung, cracked my sternum, stretched my spinal cord, and paralyzed me from the middle of my chest down. Motocross was only one of several of my passions. R/C Car racing, and graphic design have always been an interest. When I was injured I decided to head full on into a new career. I began racing r/c full-time, and opened 247DesignWorks. In the 1970's my dad was given the number 247 when he qualified the Ponca City Amateur Motocross Championships. When I began racing I took and carried the number 247 on all of bikes as well. Although my bikes are put away, the 247 tradition carries on. At 247DesignWorks we are striving to design and create the highest quality decals and work for not only the racing scene, but also everyday needs of customers. Unfortunately for me, my surgeon walked into my hospital room before surgery and told me that it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to ever get any better than the way I laid that day. Unfortunately for him, I don't believe in IMPOSSIBLE. I have set my mind to recover, and am slowly making progress day by day. That same attitude is that of which I operate 247DesignWorks. My goal, as not only a business owner, but as a person, is to produce nothing less than the highest quality work, that meets all of your needs, and then some.
